Costumed meet-and-greets at bars and restaurants. A day of dress-up at the office. The neighborhood block party with young ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating.
Yes, there are plenty of options for celebrating the giant dress-up party that is Halloween. However, if you’re looking for something a bit less traditional and a lot more festive, then we suggest the Newport Beach Halloween Yacht Party.
You read that right, a Halloween Yacht Party.
Collect your crew and hop aboard the Royal Princess Yacht
and set sail for a three-hour haunted harbor cruise on Saturday, October 26.
The 21-and-over party starts boarding shortly after a 7:00 p.m. check-in and will sail around Newport Harbor over the next three hours.
Upon setting sail, you’re in for one treat after another. Your evening gets underway with an unlimited buffet dinner and a full cash bar. When the party hits its stride with a DJ playing beats from Top 40 dance hits, you will want to be on that dance floor.
The glamorous Royal Princess Yacht is also dressing up for the occasion. The yacht will be outfitted from stem to stern in its Halloween best. Regardless of where you venture on board –– the first-floor lounge, main bar, and bow, or the second-floor buffet line and dance floor –– it’ll be a night to remember.
Of course, before you say goodbye for the night, there will be a $500 cash prize for the best costume. So don’t be shy about going all-in with your absolute scariest, cleverest, or just plain funniest Halloween ensemble.
If you can’t make the spooky sailing on October 26, no need to freak out. The Royal Princess Yacht’s siblingship, The Ambassador, will host its own Halloween bash five days later on Halloween Night.
The Newport Beach Halloween Yacht Party is a ticketed event for adults 21 years of age and older. General admission tickets are available starting at $89, which includes full yacht access, buffet dinner, and general, first-come-first-served seating. For an additional $175, you can reserve a couch section for you and your group.
