Breakfast at Tiffany’s Returns to South Coast Plaza
One of New York’s most iconic dining experiences has arrived at South Coast Plaza.
The Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud is now open inside Tiffany & Co., bringing a new expression of the legendary jeweler’s signature dining concept to Costa Mesa. The opening introduces Orange County to the café experience found at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship, where French influence, seasonal cuisine and the unmistakable glamour of Tiffany come together around the table.
The concept is led by celebrated chef Daniel Boulud, whose interpretation of Blue Box Café debuted at The Landmark, Tiffany & Co.’s transformed New York flagship. There, Boulud draws inspiration from the romance and history of the house while approaching familiar New York classics through a distinctly French lens.
At the center of the experience are three signatures: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Tea at Tiffany’s and all-day dining. Light, seasonal dishes bring a culinary dimension to the world of Tiffany, while afternoon tea offers an elegant nod to tradition. It is an experience shaped as much by its setting as its menu, extending the jeweler’s celebrated attention to detail beyond its collections.
For South Coast Plaza, the opening feels particularly fitting. The Costa Mesa destination has long brought fashion, fine jewelry, art and dining together, with Tiffany & Co. among its defining luxury houses. Blue Box Café adds another layer to that experience, transforming a visit to the jeweler into an occasion of its own.
And, of course, there is the name. Tiffany’s signature Blue Box has been an enduring symbol of anticipation and celebration for generations.
